Netanyahu “calls in the army to bust strike” - not in the ports, but in the foreign service

The ongoing dispute between employees of Israel’s Foreign Ministry and the government has now led to charges that Netanyahu is using an Israeli military attache to arrange his trip to Warsaw — effectively deploying a serving officer in the Israel Defense Forces to break a strike.  According to a report in Ha’aretz headlined “Netanyahu calls in the army to bust strike by Foreign Ministry officials”, “Angered by the attempt by the Prime Minister’s Bureau to break their strike through the military attachĂ©, the Foreign Ministry workers committee asked senior Histadrut labor federation officials to inform the IDF and the Defense Ministry that the move was unacceptable.”
