Jewish academics leave UCU - but union leadership seems not to care

The latest long-standing member of the academics union in the UK (the UCU) has resigned after 42 years as a union member.  The departure of Philosophy professor David-Hillel Ruben follows in the wake of dozens of others who find the union, with its hard-line anti-Israel boycott, an uncomfortable place to be as a Jew.  This article includes links to a number of the resignation letters, many of which pre-date the union’s recent decision to reject the commonly-accepted EUMC definition of anti-Semitism.  Union leaders continue to deny that there is a problem.
